Ekiti is among the 36 states in Nigeria and It is located in the SouthWest of Nigeria. It is known for the large number of hills it possesses and is also notable for its achievement of producing the highest number of Professors in Nigeria.

The state is also home to some tourist sites, such as the Ikogosi Warm Springs and the Ipole-Iloro Water Falls.
