Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria is located in the centre of the country from which it includes Abuja(AMAC). FCT is divided into six (6) Local Government Areas. Abuja’s economic strength is attributed to its diverse economic activities ranging from construction and real estate, tourism and leisure, agriculture and a dynamic service sector that includes infrastructure development.

FCT is bounded on the north by Kaduna State, on the southeast by Nasarawa State, on the southwest by Kogi State and the west by Niger State.

FCT has a Total land area: of 7,607 Km2. The Capital of FCT is  Abuja. The Major places in Abuja are Asokoro, Garki, Maitama, Wuse, Kado, Durumi, Jabi, Mabushi, Gudu, Katampe, Gwarinpa, Lugbe.

The 6 Area Councils ACs  are Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Bwari, Kuje, Gwagwalada, Kwali and Abaji
